Dear friends, today we will discuss drinking and smoking. As we all know, our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit within us; no matter what you do, do it by the Glory of God, whom you have from God. God warns us against losing self- control, drunkenness, and harming the body. Let us quickly see what the Bible says about this topic.
What Does the Bible Say about Drinking and Smoking?
Today I will share an interesting story, a real story that will blow your mind. One of my friend’s uncles was an addicted person to smoking and drinking. You know, he spent over 16 years. He was attached to His garage and his child, with mental health issues, severe alcohol addiction, and drug addiction over many years.
He struggled emotionally, physically, financially, and yes, spiritually. After losing his self-control. I encouraged him to pray to God. When he gave it to God, today his daughter finished school, has a great job, a two-year-old child, wonderful daycare, residency, and the blessing continues today. All glory to God. I hope you are all inspired by this wonderful story, and you will follow the guidance of God, which helps you to lead a better life
If we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there is no longer a sacrifice for sins. Avoid smoking and drinking, which will harm your bodies and your relationship with others.
If anyone tries to destroy God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. The Bible teaches us to live in harmony with peace of mind in Jesus Christ. Walk in the right path so that you may have eternal life.
Always remember that the end of all things is at hand; therefore, be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.
